What it is

One of the long-necked, plant-eating dinosaurs. In the cycad chapter it stands in the age of dinosaurs, beside a cycad, before the page tears away to the plant in the pot today.

Did it eat cycads?

Cycads are often called food of the dinosaurs. In 2008, a team measured how well the leaves of ferns and other early plants digest, as a guide to what sauropods ate. Cycad leaves came out as very poor food, so the team thought they probably played a lesser part in the diet of plant-eating dinosaurs.
