What it was
A second giant sea scorpion, about the same size as the biggest hunter and swimming in the same water. Its claw was a serrated blade.
How we know its job
Its eyes were worse than those of the small animals around it, with no sharp zone for hunting. So two giants shared one bay and did not share a job. One chased. This one swept, scavenged and waited.
